We were in my Dad's work car. His car was a 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5S, he used this as a grunt car for work (Long trips, hauling parts, ect...). Mainly because it got good gas mileage. I was driving my Dads work car home from a mall, on the expressway. I was going 72MPH (Speed limit is 70). Just driving and driving because the mall is about 1/2 hour away. I moved into the left lane as I was approaching an on-ramp. I can't remember much after that, but my Mom who was in the backseat told me that a tractor trailer lost control on the on ramp and slid sideways onto the expressway over the median and the barrier on the opposite side. The front of our car (Hood and roof) slid under the trailer of the truck and we were partially run over by the back tires. We were dragged across two lanes and into a barrier, hitting the barrier caused very minor damage as the car was crooked while being pushed. The truck slid for another 15 feet and rolled over, we came to a stop just short of hitting the truck again. This car had been through a lot in 2 years, from being rear ended twice to having the interior replaced because of water damage (left the all the windows down during a severe storm, everything inside was destroyed). The videos aren't of me driving, they don't have the crash in it. Overall I was very impressed with this car, the drivers door didn't open and the engine was basically in the passenger seat but both rear doors opened with minimal force and the airbags did a very nice job, except the side curtain units didn't fire. The drivers footwell had no intrusion but the brake pedal was pushed back into my foot (I had slammed the brakes before the crash). I also suffered a broken wrist (because I had my hand on the horn) and many cuts and bruises. My mom in the backseat had large cuts from the metal, glass and seatbelt. Tried a different music theme.
